  2. And for theory we have done 'fit to play' which is learnin about the amounts of Physical activity we do and how much we do and if we are fit.

  4. In Theory we Talked about Fit to play.We talked about the reecommended amount of exercise for adults, 5-12 year and 12-18 years.We have to plan out a commerial on staying fit and then record it. My group is the new Ben, Zac Randolph, Elise Cook and myself.

  5. In PDHPE we did cricket and i think i am getting really god at bowling and batting.We were in groups of about 4 or 5 and roatted around doing batting and bowling.I enjoyed it.

In PDHPE we are in groups and we have to make up an advert to supprt physical activity.Our group consists of zac, elise, the new kid ben and me.Firstly before we could film we had to write and draw in order on piece of papre what we were going to do.Then we can film.My group is doing instead of sitting around being lazy get up and do stuff.I am the filmer.My group is really fun, and i feel like i am the one in charge, but i am worried i am taking over but ia am trying not to.

    What it is?
    - Consist of blood, the heart and blood vessels
    - Its purpose is to transport oxygen through the body and gets rid of waste
    Effects of exercise:
    - Blood pressure is lowered
    - Working heart rate is lower
    - Resting heart rate is slower
    Respiratory System
    What is it?

    - It is breathing

    Effects of exercise:

    - Lungs grow stronger
    - You won’t get puffed as easily
    - Longer and deeper breaths
    Muscular System
    What is it?
    - Over 600 muscle sin the body
    - They contract and work your body


    Fitness components:
    Speed – Ability to perform movements quickly
    Agility – Ability to change direction quickly
    Muscular endurance – Ability of muscles to keep going
    Reaction Time – Ability to respond to stimulus
    Strength – Ability to push, pull, lift or carry
    Cardio – Respiratory endurance – ability of circulatory and respiratory systems to keep going when exercising
    Power – Strength in a burst (explosive movements)
    Coordination – ability to sequence, timing and movement of body parts
    Balance – ability to remain stable
    Flexibility – Ability to bend, stretch, twist or turn

  8. This week in PDHPE we have stared the topic RISK MANAGEMENT. This topic includes leqarning about sex, drugs and alchahol and how to manage the temptation.We did graffitie sheet which are sheets that are passed around teh groups and you did quick little answers to the questions on the sheets.Some of the questions included which risk are men likely to take and which risl=ks are women likely to take. What are risks and what tempts us to take risks.

    This week in PDHPE we did Badmintin races which i couldnt do because of my knee. But i encouraged people.

  10. This week in Theory lesson we started talikng about road safety. We did some more graffiti sheets, writing down the safety and risks for peopel on the road eg in cars, on bikes, pedestrians.

  11. This weej in practical we had Mr Scott because Mrs Climpson was away. Because we had a sub we played dodge ball.
